J-C⁵ity：可持续的创造型新城中心

根据上海一项富有前瞻性的整体发展规划，五个独立新城将与中心城一起赋予这个大都市区一个更加活力与可持续的发展未来。嘉定新城核心区正是这个计划重要的领航员项目。

Under a forward-thinking master development plan of Shanghai, five individual new cities will collaborate with the central city to provide a more vibrant and sustainable future development for Shanghai metropolitan area. The core of Jiading New City, it is, the most important pilot project of this plan.

设计对于嘉定核心区的构想，不仅是简单勾勒未来环湖空间的形态，更是要为这个全新的区域中心塑造可持续的创造型发展模式。设计通过“一体枢纽、创造赋能、活力空间、智慧共生、低碳韧性” 这五项关联的发展原则，描绘这里J-C⁵ity创造型新城的发展蓝图。

Instead of only spatially shaping the Yuanxiang Lake central activity zone, the design vision for the core of Jiading, aims to provide a sustainable and creative development model for this future new regional center. The design depicts a blueprint for the development of the Jiading-C⁵ity innovative new city through five related development principles: "Comprehensive Hub, Creative Empowerment, Charming Space, Coexistence with Smart, and Carbon-reduced Resilience".

紧凑：

根据这一蓝图，规划中的核心区与区域轨交枢纽融合发展，混合功能与合理建设密度让紧凑型的可持续发展成为可能。

According to this blueprint, the planned core area is integrated with the regional rail hub, meanwhile, with mixed functions and appropriate construction density, this compact and sustainable development plan will become possible.

创造：

设计通过品质的公共空间网络与三个关键的标志性激发新城的活力体验与创造能力。Bright Valley（光明谷）以有趣的空间容纳了创造、商业、休闲与公共活动，吸引创造人群在都市集聚。绿色生长的Vertical Garden（垂直花园）带给新城生态型的未来地标。Culture Loop（文化环）联结环湖精彩的建筑展作品与休闲节点，串联成沿湖漫步的当代文化享受。

Design aims to stimulate the vibrant experience and creativity of the new city through a network of high-quality public spaces and three key landmarks. “Bright Valley” accommodates creativity, commerce, leisure, and public activities in riveting spaces, attracting innovative people to gather together. “Vertical Garden” of growing greenery brings a future ecological landmark to the new city. “Culture Loop” draws together exciting architectural exhibits and recreation spots around the lake to create a contemporary cultural experience for walking along the lake.

智慧：

根据设计，核心区将成为上海首个智慧交通示范区，适应无人驾驶的全新道路架构、响应式公交、无感的智慧停车与人性化的智慧服务节点，通过智慧设施让市民出行与生活充满未来体验。

According to the design, the core area will become the first demonstration zone for smart transportation in Shanghai. The area will have roads with innovative solutions for self-driving vehicles, responsive public transportation, contactless smart parking and human-focused smart stations, which can provide future experiences of travel and life for citizens through smart amenities.

韧性：

统一规划城市地下设施空间容纳了高度智慧管理的能源调蓄、雨洪管理与信息联通功能。技术设施与以远香湖为中心的蓝绿生态空间结合，共同支撑低碳发展与韧性应对气候变化的新城架构。

The unified planning of urban underground space for facilities incorporates energy storage, flood control and information connectivity functions under excellent smart management. The technical facilities are combined with the blue and green ecological spaces centered on Yuanxiang Lake to jointly support the new city structure of low-carbon development and climate resilience.
